Sad Plants are the neglected witnesses of everyday life, most often found in offices, strip malls, parking lots, and waiting rooms. They reside in corners where they do not belong and are lonely, awkward, and tired of eavesdropping on drab conversations. These portraits celebrate the bystanders of bleak American suburbia and the ever common yet bizarre scenes in which they inhabit.
